Tackling the economy’s $8.5T talent shortage through a first of its kind AI- driven initiative

Together, ETS Solutions, Jobs for the Future’s innovation arm, JFFLabs and AstrumU will provide unprecedented transparency into an individuals’ skills for career seekers, education providers and employers.

The groundbreaking 3-year longitudinal skills collaborative will change the economic mobility trajectory of more than 10M career seekers from under-resourced and underrepresented communities. This cross-sector partnership will enable skills-based learning outcomes, promote skills- based hiring, and unlock the skills-based economy by providing verified skills profiles and recommendations leading to quality jobs—a massivemoment in skills verification, validation, and matching for existing and future employees, education and training providers and employers.

Furthermore, this initiative will create a solution that generates a verified skills-profile-based talent heatmap, providing actionable insights for companies and promoting diversity and inclusion in the workforce.

Develop the first-ever, verified skills profiles for career seekers from diverse backgrounds utilizing 1,000 education and training institutions.

Incorporate and develop verifiable digital learning and employment records (LERS) in order to capture competencies, skills, and credentials to connect career seekers to work and future upskilling opportunities.

Build a best in class, ecosystem-wide skills-based solution to generate a skills talent heat map for 10 million underrepresented and diverse career seekers.

Enable over 500 Fortune 1000 companies to confidently engage in skills-based hiring for individual roles.
